Jurong East  Town located near
to Jurong
East MRT Interchange Station Town which is north to Bt Batok Town, east to Clementi Town
and west to Boon Lay Town. It covers around 400 hectares of land
with around 50% occupied for residential purpose. The famous shopping mall are Jurong
Entertainment Centre and IMM Building . The Jurong East Community Library has
just renovated and reopened on July 2004 and now had become a largest community library
at western side. The library is located at behind the Jurong Entertainment Centre.

Accommodation There are about 30,000 units
of 3, 4, 5 room HDB flats in Jurong East. The newest HDB flats are located at
Toh Guan road next to IMM Building. There are Blk 285A-285E, 286A-286E, 287A-287E
and 265-284 . There are released around 1998-2000 and currently available for resale
market. The Mayfair and Parc Oasis are the newest Condominium (released around 1994) near to Chinese Garden MRT station.
